About the Neighbourhood SaveStation Campaign

Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, of any age at anytime.  Our neighbourhood, of just over 100 homes, is committed to ensuring we are Cardiac Safe.   The Outdoor SaveStation will be available 24/7 in the Park and within minutes of each home.

With less than 10 minutes to save a life from Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we all need the power to take action and save a life.

We are asking that each home contribute $42.00.

Updates will continue and we will host a CPR/AED Awareness and Education community event in the Spring.  Thank you everyone!

Public Awareness and Education Event - Tuesday, June 14th

Tuesday, June 14th 

Glenhuron Park - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

We will cover:

  • -  the realities of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

  • -  Difference between SCA and a Heart Attack

  • -  How to perform CPR (with mannequins onsite)

  • -  How to use the Heartsine Samaritan Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • -  Live Scenarios

  • -  Neighbourhood Response (phone chain of 5 neighbours)

Neighbourhood SaveStation Update - Spring 2022

Hello all,

With online and direct donations we are at almost $2,400 - more than half way to our goal.  Thank you to Leo Brooks who has connected with the entire neighbourhood this weekend.   We hope to have this funded by the end of the month and installed and 'ready for action'.  Please reach out to your neighbours and encourage them to contribute $42.00 to making our neighbourhood Cardiac Safe.  We all have the power to save a life!
