AED Cost

There are a variety of AEDs on the market today. It's important to speak with your SaveStation Distributor to determine which AED is right for you. AEDs typcially range from $1,400 - $2,500+

Ongoing Costs

AEDs require battery and pads that have expiry dates. Your SaveStation Distributor will help you to project future costs associated with maintaining your SaveStation. Depending on which AED, some pads expire every 2 years, while others are every 4-5 years. The majority of batteries expire after 4 or 5 years. We recommend assuming $300 - $400 every 4 years.

Monitoring costs: After 2 years of placing the SaveStation, the monitoring costs are on average $100/year. This monitoring includes the SMS alerts and email notifications when the cabinet door is opened, the temperature drops, the AED is removed, etc.

Life Expectancy

Most AEDs typically have a minimum 8 year warranty, but typically will last much longer as long as the pads and batteries are replaced and the unit is well cared for.
