The Southhampton Tennis Club has a life-saving AED (automated external defibrillator) inside, but unfortunately once the building is locked up at the end of the day, so is the AED!
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is still one of the leading causes of death and it does not discriminate; it can happen to anyone, at any time. Having quick access to an AED and performing CPR can increase the chance of survival by up to 75%. With less than 10 minutes to save a life from Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we all need the power to take action.
Help us place a monitored SaveStation cabinet outside the South Hampton Tennis Club so that we can make our AED and accessible for anyone to access 24/7 - day or night!
Together we can make South Hampton a Cardiac Safe Town.

When Sudden Cardiac Arrest Strikes - Every Second Matters
Once we have mounted our SaveStation on the outside of our building it is important for everyone to know about it. Every Second Matters in Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Call 911, Begin CPR and send someone to the SaveStation to grab the AED.
SaveStation is Easy to Open & Accessible 24/7
Anyone can access our SaveStation - day or night. Once opened, an alarm will go off, a picture is taken and an email/text alert will go out to others to notify them of the emergency.
Begin CPR Immediately While Waiting for the AED
While you wait for the AED to arrive you need to begin CPR immediately! Remember to PUSH HARD and FAST in the centre of the chest to the beat of the song 'Stayin' Alive'.
