We're fundraising to place a life-saving AED, accessible 24/7!
With less than 10 minutes to save a life from Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we all need the power to take action. We're fundraising to make this SaveStation with a life-saving AED, accessible to our neighbors!
This SaveStation is clearly marked for public use and will be placed between the parking lot path to Shelswell Blvd and the rink, to make sure that our AED is available 24/7 for anyone in our neighborhood to access anytime of day or night. The technology built into this SaveStation allows for 24/7 monitoring of the AED to ensure it is always ‘ready for rescue’ and will take a picture when the cabinet is opened. This cabinet also keeps the AED warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Great news everyone - We just received a generous $100 donation which has officially put us over 50% of the total fundraising goal for this initiative - your support is greatly appreciated - thank you!
Door Knocking For Donations - 3-5Pm. October 30th!
I hope you had a terrific weekend - this weather is absolutely amazing!
We hope that it is still the case this weekend as a number of us will be out door knocking with the kids in our neighbourhood accepting cash donatons/distributing more information for the crowd funding of the Shelswell Park AED fundraiser.
We will be going door to door on Shelswell, Howard, Elvyn, George, Elm, Coventry, and Lakeshore (between Line 7 and Elvyn) on Sunday, October 30th between the hours of 3-5pm if you are willing and able to have a cash donation accessible at that time.
A reminder as well that if you won't be home during this time donations can be done online (link is in the first comment below), or I am happy to pickup cash donations from any local residents.
Because of the generous donations so far, we are at a point where just $20 per household would get us to our goal
It would be nice to wrap this up this weekend and have our unit installed at the same time that several other neighbouring Oro-Medonte neighbourhood parks install their fully fundraised units
